“YUI-PORT Artist in Residence Invitation Program 2019 Spring Exhibition”
Yui-Port, Niigata (Japan)

On May 25th and 26th 2019, a workshop "Two days to make painting tools that have never been seen before" was held. Over the course of two days, with about 20 people, we made various shapes of patterns using the motif of peeled fruits (apples, bananas, lemons, kiwis, oranges). After the workshop, I created the wooden patterns based on the patterns. And then I drew the paintings using the patterns as a tool.
